Santa Fe is one of the most romantic places I’ve ever been to. The Old World feeling of the city sets the stage; you do the rest. Book a room or suite with a wood burning fireplace (gas doesn’t quite do it for me), get a good bottle of wine and canoodle. Romantic accommodations do not come cheap. Arrange for a romantic dinner to be delivered to your rooms. Inn on the Alameda While not a luxury property, in many ways, it feels like one. Its a welcoming place for your romantic getaway. Book a one bedroom suite with fireplace to set the tone. Enjoy a Champagne toast or bottle of your favorite wine and cuddle on the sofa. Two of their suites have soaking tubs.
